Breeding

Above is a video of a newborn Amur leopard cub.

The Amur leopards reach sexual maturity, or become an adult when they are 3 years old. Breeding season is are in spring and early summer. The female gestation is 90-105 days. When a cub is born, it opens its eyes 10 days later, are weaned at 3 month, and leave their mother at 18-24 month. Conservations are encouraging the animals to breed, so there will be more cubs, therefore increasing the population of Amur leopards. Every birth of a Amur leopard cub is magical, and recorded down with the feel of success, from efforts by conservation programs.
